Galen M. Hair
Mr. Hair, an aggressive and relentless litigator, is licensed in multiple states and boasts clients from around the world. With large wins both at home and across the country and an impressive record of favorable results, Mr. Hair gained a reputation for getting the job done both inside and outside the court room early on in his career. He focuses not only on the litigation in front of the client, but the long term personal and business effects that his clients’ issues will cause. Viability is key and no small victory is worth it if the client is put in a more detrimental position. With both large firm and boutique firm experience, he combines a large firm comprehensive approach to a small firm low-cost model to achieve impressive results with minimal financial expense. His clients are family to him and it shows.
Mr. Hair has been fortunate enough to have several clients enlist him in “bet the company” litigation and has been tasked with protecting clients’ assets during litigation. He enjoys nothing more than fighting for his clients and his uses his unique work ethic, his diverse background, and his courtroom skills to do just that.
Mr. Hair is involved in several community-based organizations including Access Louisiana and the 610 Stompers. When he is not fighting for clients or raising money for a good cause, he is focused on skills enrichment – often attending continuing education “just to brush up.” This unwavering success to continual improvement has led him to be named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, a Top Lawyer by New Orleans Magazine, the Pro Bono Publico Award and numerous other accolades.
When asked about his favorite case, he says they are all his favorite. But, he notes one case called LRC Energy, LLC v. Erica Lisco where he alleged in Court that the Defendant had diverted business away from his client and had misappropriated funds. In fact, Mr. Hair moved so quickly that he was able to secure over a million dollars before the Defendant had spent the funds. The Defendant countersued for half ownership of the company. After roughly a year of bitter litigation across multiple courts, Mr. Hair was able to secure a settlement wherein his client received a substantial sum of money and kept the company.
